Biden’s Socialist Agenda Drives Full Speed Ahead

It will be a very rocky year.

During the 2020 presidential campaign, then former Vice President Joe Biden’s team touted his “moderate” record and claimed his decades long career in the U.S. Senate would make him a bipartisan president capable of not only bringing Washington, D.C., together, but would unite the entire country. Those paying close attention could see what was coming and that Biden’s moderate facade would soon come down, especially with Kamala Harris as his partner. After all, during her time in the Senate, she owned the most left-wing voting record among Democrats, even beating socialist Bernie Sanders.

Biden’s first days in office made it clear the moderate label was being ripped off after being used to get elected. As part of his executive order signing sprees, totaling more than 40 so far, Biden killed thousands of middle class and union jobs by canceling the Keystone XL pipeline. He also removed women as a protected class with an executive order allowing men to compete against them in their sports.

But his first big test of bipartisanship came with the $1.9 trillion Wuhan coronavirus “relief bill,” which wasn’t actually about relief at all. Instead, it was packed with frivolous pork projects for leftist special interest groups, failed blue states and Democratic lawmakers. Despite proving support for bipartisan relief bills last year, Biden bypassed Republicans and happily signed the legislation without their votes.

Two months later, and the same process of one-party, Democratic rule continues with Biden’s so-called infrastructure bill — which isn’t really about infrastructure at all. Out of $2.5 trillion of spending, only $200 billion goes to bridges, roads, highways and other physical infrastructure.

Instead, the monstrosity is a repackaged version of the Green New Deal, which Biden claimed repeatedly on the campaign trail he did not support, and a socialist package designed to promote “equity” through the redistribution of wealth.

“His infrastructure investments will mitigate socio-economic disparities, advance racial equity, and promote affordable access to opportunity,” the White House released about the plan, citing the term “equity” half a dozen times. “In order to ensure workers have ready access to the skills they will need to succeed, and to improve racial and gender equity.”

With the introduction of the plan, leftist pundits and historians have compared Biden to FDR and the New Deal, issuing a challenge to Biden to solidify his own legacy.

“Biden’s FDR moment?” The Guardian asks.

“How Joe Biden Is Positioning Himself as a Modern FDR,” TIME writes.

“FDR got this right, Biden can too,” CNN urges.

Outside of Washington, D.C., Biden has falsely called a new voter identification law in Georgia a “relic of the Jim Crow era” and supports economic boycotts of the state. His description of the law, which expands early voting to 17 days, was so egregiously inaccurate even the Washington Post gave him four pinocchios for his claims. Regardless, Biden and his White House team have doubled-down by stoking racial tensions and spreading disinformation about the local legislation. This lying about voter suppression, specifically the suppression of black Americans, isn’t unifying or moderate and sows further division.

Biden’s portrayal of himself, and by the media, as a moderate fell apart within hours of him taking office on January 20. Unfortunately, his behavior is typical of politicians, who make a living and bolster their power by being dishonest with the American people. Biden has fully shed his moderate label and is dedicated to solidifying his legacy as one of the most leftist presidents in U.S. history.
