Former Hillary Spokeswoman Tweets ‘I Hope He Dies’ After COVID Diagnosis

Former Hillary Clinton spokeswoman Zara Rahim tweeted “I hope he dies” shortly after hearing about the President’s positive COVID diagnosis.
A former top campaign staffer to both Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama is facing fierce backlash for a tweet wishing death to President Trump, who revealed just hours earlier that he and first lady Melania Trump had tested positive for the coronavirus.
“It’s been against my moral identity to tweet this for the last four years, but I hope he dies,” Zara Rahim wrote her 37,000 followers in a now-deleted tweet.
“I feel free,” she wrote in a subsequent tweet.
“This f–ing rules,” read another tweet, which included a selfie of Ms. Rahim smiling and throwing up a peace sign.
Her Twitter account was set to private Friday morning.
Ms. Rahim previously served as a national spokeswoman for Mrs. Clinton’s 2016 campaign and worked for Mr. Obama in the White House and on both of his presidential campaigns. She also worked in top communications roles for Uber and Vogue magazine.
While she tried to delete the tweet, people on Twitter were quick to reply and capture her comments. She could not delete this away.
Do you think this type of behavior should be tolerated? We think jail time should be pursued for anyone wishing the President would die.
We also are not surprised that a Hillary Clinton aide would tweet such vile, disgusting, sentiments.
